|It is difficult to say how long the pool heater should last. The plan (as of 2021) is to replace in 5-10 years. Multiple inspections and component replacements were made in 2020 and 2021. The heat exchanger was replaced somewhere around 2011 (exact year not noted). It is expected that some burners may need to be replaced in the next 5 years ($2,500 or less). Some references indicate that the pool heater may only last 10 years, but this is clearly subject to a number of variables. | |||
